Myramid invests in mobile laboratories equipped with the best available testing equipment which is run by experienced, degreed scientists. These scientists understand the regulations and testing methods required by the state and federal agencies for the industry. We have performed hundreds of projects for companies in your industry assisting with MACT and HON requirements. Myramid considers ourselves a value-added vendor because of our experience. We have tested many types of units which include: incinerators, dryers, scrubbers, tanks, and stack vents. Many facilities have used these services to produce product emission factors which, in many cases, have been significantly lower than calculated engineering estimates (AP-42, etc.). Some of our clients include Dow Chemical, Enron, Exxon, GE, Texas Eastman, Occidental Chemical and other large industrial companies with multiple facilities located across the country.
Myramid has extensive experience in combustion source testing including boilers, turbines, incinerators, thermal oxidizers, and furnaces. Myramid’s source testing has been used for initial determination of compliance and also for in-house engineering data. These in-house engineering tests have included efficiency studies and fuel optimization tests which have saved companies significant fuel costs which far exceeded the cost of testing.
Myramid’s state of the art mobile laboratories are the foundation of our testing activities. These spacious laboratories feature electronic analyzers, manifold interfaces, and EPA protocol calibration gases that are self-contained in a clean and temperature stable environment. The design features of our mobile labs enable a time-efficient test program, which eliminates problems associated with temperature drift, sample conditioning and contamination, and instrumental bias. Myramid takes pride in our on-site analysis of most parameters, including speciated VOC’s and halogens, for real time emissions data. Our on-site analysis allows our clients not only to determine their preliminary compliance status, but also to adjust their unit for optimum performance.
